#91 closed enhancement (worksforme)

CP – centipoise

Claire Marie West (clairemwest) proposed in #69 to add CP – centipoise – term used for viscosity. A centipoise is one one-hundredth of a poise, and one millipascal-second (mPa.s) in SI units. (1 cP = 10−2P = 10−3 Pa.s). Centipoise is properly abbreviated cP – will this be its (c/i) value?

This unit already exists today. See Table 7 (CGS units); it contains the poise. And because poise already exists, the symbol for centi-poise is is "cP", as you wrote it in your request.

I agree.

To clarify: "cP" is its case-sensitive (c/s) symbol, the case-insensitive (c/i) symbol could be written "CP", "cP", "cp", or even "Cp".
