Description
People really do 200 [hp_C]. Are they using robots to shake the stuff up 200 times in a row? Anyway, 200 C is causing overflow conditions in implementations.
I am proposing that we change all homeopathic units to simple arbitrary units with no longer any logarithmic conversion to a dilution factor. This is probably correct anyway, since there is no expectation in homeopathy that you could convert between the different series.
I wonder, will this cause any problem? If we change the definition and have to change the symbols, we get the one implementation in trouble that I know of. I am inclined to change the definition and keep the symbols.
The homeopathic potency units have now been defined as simple arbitrary units. The old hp units are still available in "primed" form, e.g., "[hp'_X]".
