This is a property, not a unit?

Median or Mean?

I see these are all about flow cytometry. Again the same question as before: are these values actually communicated? Do they have a reproducible meaning between experiments?

Comment from Dan Vreeman:

I was able to confirm the use of "MFI" in scientific literature as median (https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S1046202315001449?via%3Dihub) and mean (https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/31056252/). I didn't have full text access to the papers, but from the abstracts it seemed that these were "variables" (measurement concepts) not units. This is consistent with the recent [usage of "mean fluorescence intensity" in LOINC](https://loinc.org/search/?t=1&s=Fluorescence+Intensity) within the Component with example units being [arb'U]. I recommend that this be closed as it does not appear to be a unit of measure.
