UCUM Usage and License Survey
UCUM is a code system intended to include all units of measures being contemporarily used in healthcare, science, engineering, and business expressing units of measure in digital artifacts. Regenstrief Institute serves as the standards development organization and copyright holder for UCUM.
Regenstrief is now considering changes to the license for UCUM. We would like to understand your use of the standard, specifically any adverse limitations imposed by the current license. Our goal is a license that permits legitimate use of UCUM while maintaining its free nature and ensuring its longevity as an international standard.
